The G4AXP Top Band
Magnetic Loop Antenna
Hey!  You may find my Top Band  Magnetic Loop interesting
G4AXP Loop
Introducing the µBITX transceiver, giving 10 watts of SSB/CW and covering the 3.5 MHz to 30 Mhz Ham Bands with up to 10 watts on SSB and CW. It features digital tuning, dual VFOs, RIT, CW Keyer and more.

The Radio comes in kit form with a pre - populated PCB and is driven by the Raduino which plugs into the main µBITX board. It is an Arduino Nano powered, small, hackable board based on the rock steady Si5351 synthesizer with a  16×2 LCD display.

I have added a Microphone pre-amp board allowing the use of a dynamic microphone, a small cooling fan for the PA mosfets and extra front panel switches for programming and LPF for 160M.
I have also built a 50W PA module using IRF540's to add a little extra power when necessary.

There are many forums providing a wealth of information on the net, plus useful Youtube videos.
